Care Instructions
We deliver our saris in ziplock bags to protect them against damage in transit.
However, as the materials cannot breathe, you may notice an odor when removing the sari from its packaging. Simply hang the sari, blouse and petticoat in an open room, and the odor will disappear.
We kindly ask that you refrain from using odor eliminating sprays, as these can mark or stain some materials.
Ironing
There are two options to iron your sari:
- Iron on low (silk setting). Please note, this may take a while to iron the sari.
- Set your iron to its highest setting, and use a white cotton pillow case, or ironing mesh protective cloth, between the garment and the iron. This will act as a barrier; please do not attempt to iron on this setting without this barrier.
Washing
Whilst all garments are dry cleaned after each hire, should you need to clean the items, please use mild spot cleaning treatments only.
Please note: Failure to follow the guidance instructions and/ or damage to the garment will result in some or all of your deposit being retained.
